# AZEK Deck Designer vs ARKitchen Kitchen Design

The clearest difference is rating: ARKitchen Kitchen Design at 4.3 against AZEK Deck Designer's 1.6. ARKitchen Kitchen Design also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (501 vs 41). AZEK Deck Designer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ARKitchen Kitchen Design sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. AZEK Deck Designer asks for nothing beyond the download.

ARKitchen Kitchen Design holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ARKitchen Kitchen Design has 501 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of AZEK Deck Designer's written reviews are positive against 27% of ARKitchen Kitchen Design's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
