# ScratchJr vs Barça Academy RD

The clearest difference is rating: ScratchJr at 3.9 against Barça Academy RD's 1.0. ScratchJr also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). Barça Academy RD's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
