# G2A vs Retro Jake's Mobile

The clearest difference is ads: Retro Jake's Mobile at none against G2A's shown. Retro Jake's Mobile also leads on review sentiment (54% vs 26%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). G2A's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 220) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

G2A holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: G2A has 14K ratings behind it against 220, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of G2A's written reviews are positive against 54% of Retro Jake's Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

G2A ships an update every 3 weeks, Retro Jake's Mobile every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
