# WFEC vs My Straight Talk

The clearest difference is rating: My Straight Talk at 4.8 against WFEC's 2.8. My Straight Talk also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (291K vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

My Straight Talk holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Straight Talk has 291K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of WFEC's written reviews are positive against 34% of My Straight Talk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WFEC ships an update every 6 months, My Straight Talk fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
