# Masterbuilt Classic vs Cure Calculator

The clearest difference is rating: Cure Calculator at 4.1 against Masterbuilt Classic's 2.0. Cure Calculator also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Masterbuilt Classic's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (16% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cure Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Masterbuilt Classic has 218 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two.
