# HUUM vs Alpine CC

The clearest difference is rating: Alpine CC at 5.0 against HUUM's 2.4. Alpine CC also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). HUUM's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (28 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alpine CC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HUUM has 28 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HUUM ships an update every 3 months, Alpine CC every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
