# HUUM vs Verba

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Verba at 100% against HUUM's 11%. Verba also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). HUUM's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Verba holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HUUM has 29 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of HUUM's written reviews are positive against 100% of Verba's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
