# PAYQR vs Hu

The clearest difference is ads: PAYQR at none against Hu's shown. PAYQR also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PAYQR against 5.0 for Hu. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PAYQR has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PAYQR ships an update weekly, Hu every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
