# Glose vs Holy Instant

The clearest difference is rating: Holy Instant at 5.0 against Glose's 4.5. Holy Instant also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Glose's advantage is ratings volume (8.1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Holy Instant holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glose has 8.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Glose ships an update every 3 weeks, Holy Instant every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
