# Magic Cube Timer vs WatchThisCube

The clearest difference is rating: WatchThisCube at 5.0 against Magic Cube Timer's 4.2. WatchThisCube also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 31 months). Magic Cube Timer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (93% vs 80%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchThisCube sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Magic Cube Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

WatchThisCube holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Cube Timer has 67 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Magic Cube Timer's written reviews are positive against 80% of WatchThisCube's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Cube Timer ships an update every 31 months, WatchThisCube monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
