# 北外壹佳英语 vs AR

The clearest difference is rating: 北外壹佳英语 at 3.0 against AR's 2.6. 北外壹佳英语 also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). AR's advantage is ratings volume (292 vs 1) and review sentiment (12% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

北外壹佳英语 holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AR has 292 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of 北外壹佳英语's written reviews are positive against 12% of AR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
