# GPS status+ vs Eos Tools Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Eos Tools Pro at 4.6 against GPS status+'s 1.0. Eos Tools Pro also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). GPS status+'s advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 38%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eos Tools Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eos Tools Pro has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of GPS status+'s written reviews are positive against 38% of Eos Tools Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GPS status+ ships an update every 5 months, Eos Tools Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
