# DD vs MAC Vendors

DD and MAC Vendors both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 44% of DD's written reviews are positive against 0% of MAC Vendors's. DD also leads on ratings volume (324 vs 57). MAC Vendors's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DD sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 3 months and MAC Vendors sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DD has 324 ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of DD's written reviews are positive against 0% of MAC Vendors's.
