# DD vs LuCI Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: DD at 4.2 against LuCI Mobile's 3.3. DD also leads on ratings volume (324 vs 3). LuCI Mobile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and review sentiment (60% vs 44%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DD sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 3 months. LuCI Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

DD holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DD has 324 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of DD's written reviews are positive against 60% of LuCI Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DD ships an update monthly, LuCI Mobile every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
