# DD vs RigValue

The clearest difference is rating: RigValue at 5.0 against DD's 4.2. RigValue also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). DD's advantage is ratings volume (324 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DD sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 3 months and RigValue sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RigValue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DD has 324 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DD ships an update monthly, RigValue every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
