# Gradiently vs Talkkang

The clearest difference is rating: Gradiently at 5.0 against Talkkang's 4.4. Talkkang's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (63% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gradiently holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Gradiently's written reviews are positive against 63% of Talkkang's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gradiently ships an update every 5 months, Talkkang every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
