# Gradiently vs Flash Cards Widget

The clearest difference is rating: Gradiently at 5.0 against Flash Cards Widget's 4.3. Flash Cards Widget's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (75% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gradiently holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Gradiently's written reviews are positive against 75% of Flash Cards Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gradiently ships an update every 5 months, Flash Cards Widget weekly. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
