# Slidezilla vs imgSlides

The clearest difference is rating: imgSlides at 4.7 against Slidezilla's 4.1. Slidezilla's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 38%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slidezilla sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and imgSlides sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

imgSlides holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 247 and 79 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Slidezilla's written reviews are positive against 38% of imgSlides's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Slidezilla ships an update every 6 weeks, imgSlides every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
