# Slidezilla vs Video Up! Video Editor & Maker

The clearest difference is ads: Video Up! Video Editor & Maker at none against Slidezilla's shown. Video Up! Video Editor & Maker also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (97K vs 250). Slidezilla's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 31%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slidezilla sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Video Up! Video Editor & Maker sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Video Up! Video Editor & Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Up! Video Editor & Maker has 97K ratings behind it against 250, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Slidezilla's written reviews are positive against 31% of Video Up! Video Editor & Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Slidezilla ships an update every 6 weeks, Video Up! Video Editor & Maker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
