# Slidezilla vs FluxCut

The clearest difference is rating: FluxCut at 5.0 against Slidezilla's 4.2. FluxCut also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Slidezilla's advantage is ratings volume (251 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slidezilla sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FluxCut sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FluxCut holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slidezilla has 251 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Slidezilla ships an update every 6 weeks, FluxCut every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
