# Rundown Assistant vs Astari

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rundown Assistant at 75% against Astari's 41%. Rundown Assistant also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.6). Astari's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (427 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rundown Assistant sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Astari sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Astari holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astari has 427 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Rundown Assistant's written reviews are positive against 41% of Astari's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rundown Assistant ships an update weekly, Astari every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
