# RPS vs Timeclock Attendance

The clearest difference is rating: Timeclock Attendance at 3.0 against RPS's 2.4. Timeclock Attendance also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months). RPS's advantage is ratings volume (109 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Timeclock Attendance holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RPS has 109 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of RPS's written reviews are positive against 0% of Timeclock Attendance's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RPS ships an update every 9 months, Timeclock Attendance every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
