# Xender vs Mantis360

The clearest difference is rating: Xender at 4.1 against Mantis360's 1.5. Xender also leads on ratings volume (18K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). Mantis360's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Xender holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xender has 18K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Xender ships an update every 5 weeks, Mantis360 every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
