# Xender vs SmartBallot

The clearest difference is rating: SmartBallot at 5.0 against Xender's 4.1. SmartBallot also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Xender's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (18K vs 5). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartBallot sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Xender asks for nothing beyond the download.

SmartBallot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xender has 18K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Xender ships an update every 5 weeks, SmartBallot every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
