# Xender vs UgradeIt

The clearest difference is rating: UgradeIt at 5.0 against Xender's 4.1. UgradeIt also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). Xender's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 1) and chart position (#129 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UgradeIt holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xender has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Xender ships an update every 5 weeks, UgradeIt every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
