# HiVideoS vs First Camera

The clearest difference is rating: HiVideoS at 4.8 against First Camera's 4.4. HiVideoS also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). First Camera's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HiVideoS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and First Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HiVideoS holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of HiVideoS's written reviews are positive against 63% of First Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HiVideoS ships an update every 7 months, First Camera monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
