# FREEIP vs Videoloft

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Videoloft at 100% against FREEIP's 25%. Videoloft also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). FREEIP's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 66) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Videoloft holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FREEIP has 1.2K ratings behind it against 66, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of FREEIP's written reviews are positive against 100% of Videoloft's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
