# Zombie High School vs Maze.io

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Maze.io at none against Zombie High School's 26. Maze.io also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Zombie High School's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zombie High School sells 24 one-off in-app purchases. Maze.io asks for nothing beyond the download.

Maze.io holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zombie High School has 554 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Zombie High School's written reviews are positive against 64% of Maze.io's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zombie High School ships an update weekly, Maze.io every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
