# Zombie High School vs Cotton Tree

The clearest difference is ads: Zombie High School at none against Cotton Tree's shown. Zombie High School also leads on ratings volume (554 vs 7). Cotton Tree's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zombie High School sells 24 one-off in-app purchases and Cotton Tree sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cotton Tree holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zombie High School has 554 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Zombie High School's written reviews are positive against 64% of Cotton Tree's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zombie High School ships an update weekly, Cotton Tree every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
