# Jordantron vs AudioLayer

The clearest difference is rating: AudioLayer at 4.3 against Jordantron's 3.7. AudioLayer also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (182 vs 11). Jordantron's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (76% vs 56%). On ads there is nothing between them.

Jordantron costs $9.99 and AudioLayer $12.99 up front. AudioLayer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Jordantron asks for nothing beyond the download.

AudioLayer holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AudioLayer has 182 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Jordantron's written reviews are positive against 56% of AudioLayer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jordantron ships an update every 23 months, AudioLayer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
