# Husker Extra vs NE ScoreFeed

The clearest difference is ads: NE ScoreFeed at none against Husker Extra's shown. NE ScoreFeed also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Husker Extra's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (654 vs 36). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Husker Extra sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per month and NE ScoreFeed sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Husker Extra against 4.7 for NE ScoreFeed. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Husker Extra has 654 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of Husker Extra's written reviews are positive against 83% of NE ScoreFeed's.

Husker Extra ships an update every 3 weeks, NE ScoreFeed every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
