# Visual Hear vs Voice Language Translator Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: Visual Hear at free with in-app purchases against Voice Language Translator Pro's subscription. Visual Hear also leads on ads (none vs shown). Voice Language Translator Pro's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 22%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Visual Hear sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Voice Language Translator Pro sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
