# MyPCREMC vs MySparklight

The clearest difference is rating: MyPCREMC at 2.8 against MySparklight's 2.0. MySparklight's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (214 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyPCREMC holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MySparklight has 214 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of MyPCREMC's written reviews are positive against 6% of MySparklight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyPCREMC ships an update every 6 months, MySparklight fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
