# Stop & Note vs MultiTimer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Stop & Note at none against MultiTimer's 1. Stop & Note also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). MultiTimer's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MultiTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Stop & Note asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stop & Note holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MultiTimer has 76 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Stop & Note's written reviews are positive against 82% of MultiTimer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stop & Note ships an update every 10 months, MultiTimer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
