# Movieguide® TV vs India Forums

The clearest difference is ads: Movieguide® TV at none against India Forums's shown. Movieguide® TV also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). India Forums's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Movieguide® TV against 5.0 for India Forums. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Movieguide® TV has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Movieguide® TV ships an update every 8 months, India Forums every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
