# Subway® vs Bojangles App

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bojangles App at free against Subway®'s free with in-app purchases. Subway®'s advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (1.2M vs 53K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Subway® against 4.7 for Bojangles App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subway® has 1.2M ratings behind it against 53K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 17% of Subway®'s written reviews are positive against 10% of Bojangles App's.

Subway® ships an update weekly, Bojangles App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
