# Scout Champ vs Land id®

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scout Champ at 85% against Land id®'s 32%. Scout Champ also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Land id®'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 19 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Land id® sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Scout Champ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Land id® holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Land id® has 4.3K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Scout Champ's written reviews are positive against 32% of Land id®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scout Champ ships an update every 19 months, Land id® fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
