# Scout Champ vs Chorsee

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scout Champ at none against Chorsee's 6. Scout Champ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Chorsee's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 19 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 53). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chorsee sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Scout Champ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chorsee holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chorsee has 12K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Scout Champ's written reviews are positive against 78% of Chorsee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scout Champ ships an update every 19 months, Chorsee every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
