# Final Stand vs Trenches

The clearest difference is rating: Final Stand at 4.5 against Trenches's 3.5. Final Stand also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (19K vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Final Stand sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Trenches sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Final Stand holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Final Stand has 19K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Final Stand's written reviews are positive against 64% of Trenches's.

Final Stand ships an update monthly, Trenches every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
