# Netgíró vs Myntbreyta

The clearest difference is update cadence: Netgíró at every 2 months against Myntbreyta's every 17 months. Netgíró also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Myntbreyta's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Netgíró against 5.0 for Myntbreyta. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Netgíró has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Netgíró ships an update every 2 months, Myntbreyta every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
