# Apache Gunner vs Submarine Sonar Multiplayer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Apache Gunner at none against Submarine Sonar Multiplayer's 1. Apache Gunner also leads on ratings volume (19 vs 3). Submarine Sonar Multiplayer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Submarine Sonar Multiplayer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Apache Gunner asks for nothing beyond the download.

Apache Gunner holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.3.
