# Panda Express vs Old Spaghetti Factory

Panda Express and Old Spaghetti Factory both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Old Spaghetti Factory's written reviews are positive against 54% of Panda Express's. Panda Express's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 13 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Panda Express against 4.9 for Old Spaghetti Factory. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Panda Express has 631K ratings behind it against 13K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of Panda Express's written reviews are positive against 87% of Old Spaghetti Factory's.

Panda Express ships an update every 3 weeks, Old Spaghetti Factory every 13 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
