# Panda Express vs The Spot DMV

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Panda Express at 633K against The Spot DMV's 969. Panda Express also leads on chart position (#25 vs unranked). The Spot DMV's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 54%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Panda Express against 4.9 for The Spot DMV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Panda Express has 633K ratings behind it against 969, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of Panda Express's written reviews are positive against 65% of The Spot DMV's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
