# WICSmart vs WCSSD Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: WCSSD Connect at every 3 weeks against WICSmart's every 2 months. WCSSD Connect also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WICSmart ships an update every 2 months, WCSSD Connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
