# GrandPad vs The Memoryboard

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Memoryboard at every 11 days against GrandPad's every 3 months. The Memoryboard also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.5). GrandPad's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 108). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GrandPad against 4.9 for The Memoryboard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GrandPad has 18K ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of GrandPad's written reviews are positive against 95% of The Memoryboard's.

GrandPad ships an update every 3 months, The Memoryboard every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
