# Draftline Technician vs Sync

The clearest difference is rating: Sync at 4.6 against Draftline Technician's 2.3. Sync also leads on ratings volume (4.1K vs 8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Draftline Technician's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (50% vs 17%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sync sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Draftline Technician asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sync holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sync has 4.1K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Draftline Technician's written reviews are positive against 17% of Sync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
