# Product Hunt vs Scribble.

The clearest difference is rating: Product Hunt at 4.8 against Scribble.'s 4.2. Product Hunt also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 46). Scribble.'s advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scribble. sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Product Hunt asks for nothing beyond the download.

Product Hunt holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Product Hunt has 3.4K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Product Hunt's written reviews are positive against 67% of Scribble.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
