# Product Hunt vs Yieldschool

Product Hunt and Yieldschool both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Yieldschool's written reviews are positive against 64% of Product Hunt's. Product Hunt's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 87). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Product Hunt against 4.9 for Yieldschool. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Product Hunt has 3.8K ratings behind it against 87, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Product Hunt's written reviews are positive against 100% of Yieldschool's.

Product Hunt ships an update every 9 days, Yieldschool every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
