# Astro Party vs G

The clearest difference is rating: Astro Party at 4.6 against G's 4.1. Astro Party also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 17 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astro Party sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and G sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Astro Party holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astro Party has 15K ratings behind it against 107, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of Astro Party's written reviews are positive against 79% of G's.

Astro Party ships an update every 3 months, G every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
