# bol vs AlleFolders

The clearest difference is ratings volume: bol at 1.3K against AlleFolders's 6. bol also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). AlleFolders's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for bol against 4.8 for AlleFolders. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bol has 1.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

bol ships an update every 10 days, AlleFolders monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
